Easy row/column highlight and coloring for the timeline and schedulerĬoloring resources was already possible using the colors option, but coloring an entire resource row or column was too complicated, involving recurring rules for colors, and writing custom templates as well. Event buffers can be defined on the event data, while displaying the buffers can be controlled using the showEventBuffer option. These buffer times are displayed with a different styling, and templating is also possible. This release adds support for presenting event buffers on the Timeline and on the Scheduler components. This could mean travel time for meetings and appointments, check-in and check-out time around flights, loading and unloading time for a truck, or anything that is not an actual part of the event, but it affects the scheduling. Apart from the actual time of the event is often useful to define extra time before and after the event.
